Yes, the CSA shares have sold out! In fact, we had to return some checks sent in after the cut-off from people who thought shares were still available.
Should we have an overflow of produce from the CSA, we may make it available for sale on the farm, so please come by the farm throughout the growing season to see what’s happening.
For those still interested in helping, there will be many ways to get involved with the farm, including volunteering and making donations. You can also become a member of the Massaro Community Farm and make a tax deductible gift.
Progress on the farm is continuing and Farmer Steve has begun the seed starts. Over the next two weeks he plans to seed onions (already begun), leeks, parsley, eggplant, chard, peppers, cabbage, kale and fennel. Shortly after that lettuce, beets, tomatoes, basil, dill, cilantro, spinach…
