Today, June 22nd 2010, we celebrate our first distribution of produce.

Farmer Steve and crew started the day early, around 7:30 am this morning, preparing for the event.  Together they set up the distribution area, picked and washed the produce and arranged the display.  As the pick-up time arrived everything was ready.

Individuals, families and CSA Board members trickled in and out through out the afternoon and everyone happily received their first share of produce.  Many members walked in the fields picking beans and talking with Farmer Steve and other CSA board members.  All had a good time and warm community experience.

We want to thank everyone who helped out and made today a success.  Thanks!

The second half of this week’s distribution will be on Friday, June 25th at 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  We are looking forward to a great finish to this first distribution week and to many more to come.
