What you can expect from the season:

Throughout the season you will receive a variety of vegetables, all of which will be freshly harvested from the farm. In the first few weeks of distribution the share of produce will be simple and light, including the first crops to be ready for harvest, such as lettuce, kale, turnips, scallions and peas. As we move deeper into summer the bounty should increase, allowing you to take home a greater variety of produce including peppers, tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers. There will be some crops that you can pick yourself, including green beans, and cherry tomatoes. When such “U-pick” crops are available, there will be instructions at the farm as to how to proceed.

Spring/Summer Crops: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Sweet Peppers, Hot Peppers, Eggplants, Scallions, Summer Squash, Zucchini, Broccoli, Basil, Cilantro, Parsley, Dill, Beets, Fennel, Chard, Kale, Radishes, Turnips, Green Beans, Bok Choi, Broccoli Raab, more…

Fall Crops: Winter Squash, Potatoes, Lettuce, Kale, Chard, Bok Choi, Turnips, Radishes, Scallions, Cilantro, Parsley, Dill, Fennel, more…

We present our produce “market-style”, such that you choose your vegetables from the distribution area at the farm. For example, if the share includes 1 head of lettuce, there will be crates full of lettuce, from which you will select 1 head of lettuce; if the share includes 4 tomatoes, there will be crates of tomatoes, from which you will select 4 tomatoes, etc.. There may be some new and unfamiliar vegetables included. You are encouraged to try everything, however, if you don’t want something that is part of the share, you do not have to take it.
